| Description A warm welcome awaits at Bailbrook Lodge Hotel, splendid Georgian, grade II listed house built in 1901 and designed by the famous architect John Everleigh. It was built originally as a villa for what is now Bailbrook College. During its history, the property was sold as 'a most elegant residence for a man of fortune'. Later however it became a home for 'girls in distress' and then used as a superior private asylum! Happily it has now been returned to its former glory as a privately owned hotel.
